Distribution creates reach. Advertising creates opportunity. Breakdown turns response data into decisions.
ConsumerEXP designed and built Breakdown with its software-development partners. The proprietary application connects the company’s software, databases, campaign activity, and reporting in one decision layer.
Embedded AI helps advertisers and programmers identify stronger markets, schedules, stations, products, and revenue opportunities—including where to increase spending, run a controlled test, gather more data, renegotiate, or pause.

Request a Web TourConsumerEXP was founded in November 2018 and is based in Boston. Founder Michael Kokernak’s career has moved from home-shopping affiliate distribution and television network leadership to interactive-TV invention, advertising technology, and global channel strategy.
His experience includes leadership roles with ViaTV, Shop At Home Network, Backchannelmedia, and ConsumerEXP. He has generated more than $60 million in television advertising sales, contributed to patented systems connecting broadcast content with digital response, and written hundreds of commentaries and feature articles for industry trade magazines about the future of television advertising and direct response.
As programmers expanded beyond the United States, Kokernak followed their growth—developing and completing distribution agreements that extended clients’ reach into additional countries and connected them with new television and media partners.
That career path produced a practical lesson: carriage is only the beginning. Programmers need flexible revenue models, clear measurement, and technology that connects viewers, advertisers, and distributors.

As FAST and streaming platforms give viewers more choices, channels need partners that go beyond programmatic advertising alone. ConsumerEXP combines direct-response models, measurable commerce tools, emerging technologies, and the reporting to understand what works.
